Today, we went to Windsor Castle. It's a castle which Queen Elizabeth and the other Royal family members go to on weekends. So its kinda like a weekend palace. It was really hot. Wasn't such a good day to be going out and about. Anyway, we went for the audio tour. The part I enjoyed most was the Moat Garden. It was filled with tons of different types of flowers. The red roses were pretty huge and healthy looking, not to mention, they had that faint smell. Soft and powdery.
We even went into the King's chambers. Photography is prohibited in there, so no photos of the chambers.
After that, we walked down the small street opposite to the castle's exit gate. We came across a photo studio where you can dress up with clothes from the Victorian times. Thought it was cool, so we gave it a go. (:
I chose a simple brown dress, with a cream lace puff skirt(?). It had light coffee-coloured roses on the shoulder straps. Finishing up with a tiara. Fyi, I was the only one with a tiara. Syah, Fatin and my Mom had hats. I'll upload the photo next time. (: Haha. I look funny though, in it.
So yeah, that was the most fun bit about today. Dressing up!
